GENEVIEVE PACKER.

PRODUCTS+PLAY.PROJECTS.ABOUT.FRIENDS.

As creative people we all collect and collate very ordinary things that inspire us, along with small samples of ideas that we ourselves create. We are inspired by the history and tradition of craft that precedes us, and are determined to bring this often less considered creative process into a contemporary context. We love to make stuff.

Established in 2002 as a creative collective and social craft experiment, Craftcamp is a testing ground, involving limited edition works as well as one-offs and small batches, with numerous exhibition, retail and commissioned outings in New Zealand and Australia.

Craftcamp is:
Gabby O’Connor: a Wellington-based artist, maker, collaborator and craftcamper.
Genevieve Packer: a Wellington-based textile designer, maker, educator and craft enthusiast.
Shio Otani: a Japanese-born, Melbourne-based, self-confessed craft mama and cat lover.
